Shikshalaya

Where Every Child Learns, Grows, and Thrives

We are dedicated to creating a world of opportunity through education, essential nutrition, and sustainable empowerment for women and children.

Shikshalaya means the house of learning

As the name suggests, at Shikshalaya, we strive to learn in the real sense of the word. We are a self-paced learning space for students. As you enter the main door and become a student at Shikshalaya, you start from where you are and steadily increase your ability under the supervision of the teachers trained in the world’s most advanced teaching methods. Gradually, you achieve the required intelligence and performance level you want to achieve.

There is no unhealthy competition leading to rote learning but there is a game of learning to 100% and everyone has a chance to be the best version of oneself. This is how we make it in this world.

We believe that when there is no understanding of the materials, when you do not know how to apply things studied in your life, you have not learnt it. One becomes stupid and unintelligent, leading to unhappiness and failure.

Therefore, learn everything fully. And you will be successful in this competitive world.

A child has every right to enjoy learning. A student has a right to pursue what he thinks is worth knowing. One has a right to have real knowledge and a full understanding of the subjects.
So you will find our teachers not lecturing but making students go through the materials carefully, clearing everything they study, doing activities, building models in the classrooms, researching on the internet (and not mugging up data from the general knowledge books). You will find a little girl making a clay model of the solar system or demonstrating a trigonometric concept with clay and sticks. You will find students presenting a drama based on a classic story as a concluding activity of the project.

Life improvement programs & life skills for students:

In life, we need skills. From keeping our body clean to managing the finances of our company, from learning quick tricks of math to planning to clean a polluted river, from taking help from our parents to finalizing a deal with a client, we need life skills. In addition, to be happy in life as a child or an adult, we need values. Hence, we build values and life skills.

These life skills cover handling your body, aesthetic skills, environmental skills, and skills dealing with right and wrong, and logical thinking skills. There are hundreds of skills that students learn during their school program completion.
We deliver the school curriculum for students from preschool to class 10. We accept Humanities for classes 11 and 12.

We help students to appear in the IGCSE and NIOS boards in classes 10 and 12.
